How it works

Equipledge runs timed drives with two pools. Running totals stay hidden while a drive is open.

1. Donors choose a pool, amount, charity, and unmatched fallback.
2. At close, the public algorithm computes an aggregate pro-rata match between the two pools.
3. Your matched dollar goes to charity instead of to a campaign, and an opposing donor's matched dollar does the same.
4. You complete giving directly through Every.org or the campaign link. Equipledge validates a card to confirm you're a real person, and never charges it.
5. After settlement, a transparency artifact publishes aggregates, hashes, issued link totals, donor-confirmed totals, and retention status.

Verifiability

The artifact includes input and output hashes plus the rounding ledger, so the result can be re-derived without exposing open-drive totals or retained pledge-level intent data.
